Trekking & exploring caves in

Day 1	Arrive in Vientiane, transfer to Vang Vieng with a visit to Ban Houei Mo fisherman village on the way. Arrive in Vang Vieng, check into hotel Nam Xong hotel or the Vang Vieng resort.
Day 2	After breakfast, transfer to Ban Phatang. Whilst walking to Tham Phaxang cave, listen to a briefing about the natural caves, time to explore the caves. In the afternoon, after crossing the Nam Xong river, continue by tuk-tuk to Tam None cave. Return to Vangvieng.
Day 3	After breakfast, walk up to visit Tham Chang cave. Continue on foot for approximately a 2hour walk through the valley to visit Ban Namka to visit the hill tribe people the Tai Deang and Souay. After a picnic lunch return to the hotel.
Day 4	After breakfast return to Vientiane with lunch en route. Arrive in Vientiane, afternoon spent visiting fine art museums.
Day 5	Morning at your leisure to explore until time for transfer to the airport for your departure flight.

Day 1	Arrive at Houeixai, check through immigration on Lao side, take a speed boat down the Mekong river. Visit Hmong and Khmu villages at Ban Houei Lampen en route, where unique traditions are still being preserved. See women in traditional uniforms with solid silver necklaces showing their embroidery outside their houses. Also stop to visit Lu village on the bank of the Mekong river where most women still practise in crafts such as weaving and dyeing.
Day 2	Continue by boat to Ban Thaxouang and then transfer to Hongsa by road. Arrive in Hongsa. Take an elephant tour, visit Lao-Thai agricultural Garden, Inteam waterfall and Man stupa. After lunch continue by elephant through villages and forests to see a traditional Lu village, the pilot handicraft cottage industry. Watch displays of traditional Lu style baci ceremony and martial arts.
Day 3	After breakfast, visit Hongsa cultural house, the only place where you can see a lignite become logs with the age of 25-40 millions year old and other ethnic belongings. Transfer to Ban Thaxoang along the Mekong river by speed boat. En route visit the Pak Ou cave and Ban Xangxai, the rice wine distillation village. Also visit Vat Longkhoune, the royal temple which has survived, where the king used to stay for several days on retreat before being enthroned. Arrive in Luang Prabang by crossing the Mekong river.
Day 4	Day at leisure in Luang Prabang for you to explore the city on your own. Breakfast and dinner included.
Day 5	After breakfast, cross the Mekong river to Ban Chiang Mene to visit Wat Longkhoune, the survived temple. Walk across to explore Ban Chan, the pottery village, for 1 hour and 3 minutes. Vist the Kuangxi Waterfall, 15km away by car. Return to Luang Prabang by road.
Day 6	Morning visit to the former King's palace. After, transfer to the airport for flight to Vientiane. Afternoon in Vientiane at leiaure to discover the city on your own.
Day 7	Visit the weaving village of Ban Nong Bouathong, and the handicraft centre. Transfer to the airport or friendship bridge for departure.
