Overland tour to Luang Prabang

Day 1	Arrive in Vientiane, transfer to hotel. Afternoon visit to Vat Sisaket, Hophrakeo, Patousay and that Luang stupa and the local market.
Day 2	After breakfast, drive north through beautiful scenery to Vangvieng. Visit the 11th century archaeological site of Vangxang on the way. Afternoon spent on the Namxong river exploring natural caves and traditional villages on a bamboo raft. Watch sunset from the bank of the namxong river.
Day 3	Leave Vangvieng and continue north towards Luang Prabang. Pass mountain ranges on this very beautiful and scenic drive and feel more in touch with the preserved nature and your surrounds. Stop for lunch at Ban Kieu Kacham, a Hmong hilltribe village situated on the peak of a mountain range. Arrive Luang Prabang and if time permits visit temples such as: Vat Vixoun, Vat Sene, Vat May and Phousi hill.
Day 4	Morning visit to the most beautiful temple, Vat Xiengthong. Take a traditional boat upstream on the Mekong river to visit the famous Pak Ou cave. See the Ban Xanghai rice distillery on the way. Visit Tam Ting, the Buddah cave. Picnic lunch at bamboo cottage on the beautiful scenic river at the confluence between the Mekong and Ou rivers. Return to Luang Prabang and transfer by car to visit the very well known weaving village of Ban Phanom.
Day 5	After breakfast visit the famous waterfall of Kuangsi. On the way visit Ban Xon (traditional Lao Loum Village) and Ban Thapene near the waterfall known as Lao Theung village. Picnic lunch near the waterfall.Return to Luang Prabang.
Day 6	Morning visit to the National Museum, the former King's Palace, followed by the market and paper village. After lunch, transfer to the airport to fly to Bangkok.

Included in the tour:	Transfers and tours as program specified with English/French (or specified) speaking local guide. Hotel accommodation in twin sharing room. Meals: fullboard. Entrance fees to temples and touristic sites visited. Guide services Service charges and tax.
Not included in the tour:	Visa upon arrival fee which is US$30 per pax. Airtickets to / from Laos and airport departure tax. Airport departure tax which is US$10.pax. Anything else not mentioned above.

Day 5	Visit the morning market, the shopping centre and Ban Nong Bouathong. Transfer to the airport or friendship bridge for departure.
